b-bye 2012

Ok, seriously where did this year go?! Is it me, or are the years just going faster and faster?! I've had some great memories though that will make me never forget this past year. 

It started off in January by getting to go to Hawaii for the Pro Bowl with some of the cheerleaders that I coached. Lucky, I know!!  Then in April, I was blessed with my fourth child Zane Presley. Now this takes the cake for 2012.....for sure!!  August hits and my second oldest started Kindergarden and a week later I turned the big 3-0!! Ahhhh......still struggling with that! November comes and I celebrated my 8th wedding anniversary with the best man, EVER! 

Now here I am saying b-bye 2012, but counting my blessings and looking forward to what God has in store for me in 2013!

Happiest Place on Earth

 Now I have been to Disneyland quite a few times, but have never got to experience the happiest place on earth at this time of year. Let me just say WOW! I'm a kid at heart when it comes to Disneyland anyway. But mix it with the best holiday ever and sha-bang......its A-MAZ-ZA-ZING! The decorations, lights, fake snow, cold weather.....I could go on for days.

Crazy Busy

Well hello there......been a little while I know! It's a crazy time of year for me. Well I'm sure for everyone. Crazy good of course. I have been super, duper busy involved in my church Christmas play, as I mentioned before. But let me just give you a quick explanation of this play. First of all, I shouldn't be even using the word "play". More like production. And this is not a one nighter......oh no, we are talking 15 performances. I mean we go all out. We have camels, and tigers and elephants.....oh my!! Sorry, could resist myself of the cheesy rhyme.  Eek, I am definitely not doing it justice.....all in all, its one spectacular show.

Santa Libby

          Ok, so I decided I would take the kids to see Santa this year. It is definitely not a tradition in the Rueb household. But, this year I was actually pretty excited to take them. A little too excited I think. I made it a special by surprising them. Which always makes everything more exciting. I mean, who doesn't like surprises?! I just LOVE them......which explains the excitement I had about seeing Santa.                                                             Of course I would prefer being on the receiving end of one (hint, hint Trevor), but there is nothing better than giving that excitement to my kiddos. 

I have to say though, I was quite disappointed with him. He did no fit the criteria for a Santa. Yes, he was a bigger guy and had a fake white beard and all, but he had no jolly. Shouldn't that be the first thing they look for when they hire these guys?!  I don't know......but I definitely think I could have done a better job. 

Hey, I may have just found my calling!
