Hello Friends! My name is Libby.
I was born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana and lived there for eight years before moving to Phoenix, Arizona. I graduated in 2000 and decided I wanted to go to school for dental hygiene. I attended Paradise Valley CC and Phoenix College, where I got my Associates in Applied Science for Certified Dental Assisting.
In November 2004, I married the love of my life, Trevor, while working at a dental office. I was planning on continuing my education for hygiene, when the hubs and I decided we would start trying for kids.....I always wanted to be a young mom. Shortly after that, I found out I was pregnant and we were having a girl. I could not have been more excited.....for sure thought I would have all boys.
On February 14th, 2006, we joined the parents club. Seriously, how cool was that.....Valentine's Day!! My hubby says he gave me the best present ever, and he was right!
After talking and praying we decided that I would put hygiene school on hold and quit my job to become a full time stay at home mom. God knew exactly what he was doing because when Keiley was just one year of age, I found out I was pregnant again. October 2007, Piper joined our family. Boy, was I busy......two kids under the age of two.
Life goes on and we decided we wanted more kids. In May 2009, I was ecstatic to find out I was pregnant. That joy immediately turned to sadness, pain, and anger, as I found out I miscarried. I never doubted God though and knew there was a reason and we would try again.
Sure enough, I got pregnant again and we found out this time we were having a boy. We are definitely not that couple that can wait to the birth to find out the sex. My hubby was super stoked! He said he didn't care the sex either way, but what guy doesn't want a boy to play catch with or carry on the family name?! So, April 2010 and we had Race. And let's just say his name fits him to a T!
I then decided to take a position as a high school cheer coach. What a perfect job for me. I was a cheerleader myself and even coached a competition cheer team at my church prior. While being a full time mom and part time coach, I was pretty busy. But I guess not busy enough, because we decided we would add another kiddo to the bunch.
In April 2012 we had another boy that we named Zane. How perfect is that......two girls, two boys. I am blessed beyond measure. I realized I wanted to focus more on my family, so decided to resign as a coach. And here I am today, not taking anything of granted, trying to be the best mom I can while blogging. Hoping to inspire others how to enjoy so something you love, even if it has to be on a budget and your the last one that gets cared for.
What does your hubby do?
